What to expect at Show choir
Show Choir is for anyone and everyone who loves the musicals and wants to be a part of the wonderful world of singing.
Even if you think you can't sing, believe me, you can! So many of my lovely choir members had hardly sung at all since school, and now they are confidently singing West End hits to audiences of up to 5000 people! I know there’s a singer in everybody, and Show Choir proves that!
The only thing you need to bring with you is some water and a sense of humour!! You don't have to be able to read music, and you won't ever have to sing on your own (unless you want to!!) You'll get a warm welcome, a set of lyrics, and we teach by call and response - easy!!
The Feel Good Factor
Our singers often describe coming to choir as uplifting and joyful. Many have said that, even on those days when they have dragged themselves to choir feeling tired and stressed, they know they'll leave feeling lighter and with a smile on their face!!
It's a well known fact that singing , particulary in groups, is a fabulous mood lifter! And it's not just the singing, it's the shared experience with like minded people that creates lasting friendships and makes it such a special thing to do! Show Choir is a singing family and we all love it!!
